weekly intention: hit the reset button
Oh, hey there! It certainly has been awhile since I posted a weekly intention. For me, when I started posting these intentions, it was really important for me to write one every week no matter what. Seeing as I'm 100% the type of person who picks up a hobby or practice and 99.9% of the time it falls by the wayside. Ummmm, hello to: bullet journals, unfinished art projects, and piles of unread books.
As I often tend to do, I focus on the negative of the situation. How I'm upset that I didn't finish a project or follow through with an intentional goal. Why don't I tell myself I can just pick it back up when it's more convenient for me? That maybe I've bitten off more than I can chew and it's OKAY not to finish everything all at once. We often times don't give ourselves the opportunity to let
Give yourself the freedom to return to any unfinished business with NO JUDGMENTS. That's key. Putting yourself down in the process is only going to make the task more daunting.
Pick up that book that you haven't touched in weeks (maybe months!) and start over. Remind yourself that the initial intention and purpose of the task at hand has never left you. Hit the reset button and move forward.
